Grill me

Ace asks. You answer out loud. Miss one and Ace explains it.

Pick a class and tap the chip. Ace reads each question in its own voice, listens to your answer, grades it like a clinician on rotation would, and saves every miss to a review deck.

Ace asksIn the horse, why does injury to the recurrent laryngeal nerve cause an inspiratory noise during exercise?
YouI'm not sure.
Here's the answer. In the horse, the recurrent laryngeal nerve supplies the cricoarytenoideus dorsalis, which abducts the arytenoid cartilage. Nerve injury leaves the affected side unable to open properly during inspiration, causing airway narrowing and turbulent noise. Remember dorsalis as the door opener.
