Grill me

Ace asks. You answer out loud. Miss one and Ace explains it.

Pick a class and tap the chip. Ace reads each question in its own voice, listens to your answer, grades it like a clinical supervisor would, and saves every miss to a review deck.

Ace asksWhy does unilateral contraction of the posterior cricoarytenoid muscle open the vocal fold on that side?
YouI'm not sure.
Here's the answer. The posterior cricoarytenoid rotates the arytenoid so its vocal process moves laterally, opening the attached vocal fold. The vocal fold follows because it attaches to the vocal process. Remember: posterior cricoarytenoid pulls the fold apart.
