Grill me

Ace asks. You answer out loud. Miss one and Ace explains it.

Pick a class and tap the chip. Ace reads each question in its own voice, listens to your answer, grades it like a fieldwork educator would, and saves every miss to a review deck.

Ace asksWhy does bending the elbow make it easier to hold a weight close to your chest than holding that same weight with your arm straight out in front?
YouI'm not sure.
Here's the answer.Bringing the weight closer to the shoulder shortens gravity’s external moment arm, so the shoulder muscles counter less torque. The moment arm is the perpendicular distance from the joint axis to the force’s line of action. Remember, a shorter lever means less turning force for the same weight.
