The girls watched a video about her life and heard the Rebbe describe her tremendous Mesirus Nefesh in making ink for her husband, Rabbi Levi Yitzchak, so he could continue writing Sefarim. They also learned how she later risked great danger to bring his precious writings out of the Soviet Union which we have today because of her. \n\nWe focused on the lesson of Lechatchilah Ariber; when faced with an obstacle, we rise above it from the very beginning, just as Rebbetzin Chana did. The girls learned about Rebbetzin Chana’s diary, in which she recorded her experiences, challenges, and struggles. This helped them appreciate how her writing preserved her memories and strengthened her through difficult times. Inspired by Rebbetzin Chana’s diary, the girls decorated their own diaries, which they can use to record their thoughts and experiences. They also made ink from herbs, filled paint pens with it, and used their handmade ink to decorate their diaries.
